The room was spacious, but parking cost €8 per day unjustified.

The breakfast offered a solid variety that could kickstart anyone’s day, and the expansive parking area was a plus, even if it comes at a price. Space in the double rooms was decent enough for what I expected from the facility.
The absence of air conditioning turned my room into a sauna, and the basic toiletries just didn't cut it for a supposed 4-star joint. The furniture looked like it was installed in a different era. it really needs updating. I wasn't impressed with the restaurant either. the limited menu didn't have the garlic sauce needed for my dinner choice, so I exited the hotel searching for food. the elevator was a nuisance, often leaving me stranded on the first floor with luggage in tow. It’s also puzzling to have two entrances with no guidance on which one to use, which made getting dropped off quite a hassle.

great room but parking fee was high
I enjoyed my stay in the Comfort Double Room! The breakfast was exceptional, packed with high-quality options. The sauna offered a serene experience, perfect for winding down. Plus, the view from my room provided a lovely backdrop to my mornings.
The €8 parking fee felt somewhat steep for the overall experience.

The hotel is clean and in a great location close to dining options. I appreciated the spaciousness of the room, making it comfortable to move around. The breakfast had a good variety with quality options that started my day off well. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm during our stay. We opened the windows for relief, but the noise from outside was disruptive, especially in the late hours. Staff service was inconsistent. while some were helpful, there were moments where they seemed unbothered by our needs. it felt more like a two-star experience with four-star prices.

This was a solid choice for a weekend in Hagen with great value for the money. The shower pressure was surprisingly strong, making my morning routine quick and enjoyable. Bring your own toiletries if you’re picky, as the provided ones are quite basic.
